Hi Mr Crisis
I’m also living in Spain, but I assume that you are referring to our friend, Huuuuuuumm. Obviously no one really knows what’s going to happen in the future, but I tried explaining to him that if you think that the stock is worth buying then go ahead and do it. It would be great if we could be fortune tellers and get the exact rock bottom price but I think that this is more or less impossible, I topped up substantially at 41p, of course I have been kicking myself when I saw the price drop to around 34p but you have to make decisions and hope for the best.
3 months ago the sp touched 58p, I don’t really think that things are any worse than they were then, in fact I’d be bold enough to say that perhaps the climate for RBS has slightly improved! I’m going to stick to my gut instinct that the markets don’t always reflect what the actual price of a stock should be, look back at the dot com days when SP’s were sky high for anyone with a dotcom in their name, were these companies worth their share price? Of course not, but who cares as long as you achieve your objective, which I guess is to trade at a profit.
Btw I had my midlifecrisis a few months ago, got the sports car, now waiting on a good SP increase so that family and I can go on a nice exotic holiday next summer.
All the best.
