Jeez just bought my most expensive pint ever.

0.6L of a mediocre lager cost ...wait for it...£9.86!!! in a fairly average/normal restaurant . For comparison a similar drink was about £6.50 or so in February.

Anyone care to guess where or indeed can better this?

What is the world coming to? Perhaps this is the future for the UK, or damn near it?

lol Fundie, Wetherspoons, can't remember the last time I was in there, are they really that expensive?

Harvey's eh, god only knows what that would have cost and there's certainly none of your deflation around there either.

I really meant Wetherspoons Park Lane.

Long time since I was there too of course.

Come to think of it, that might have been the Grosvenor Park Hotel......

Either way, there's a real brew of deflation at the Royal British Legion Club where I get me Harvey's Best these days.

Harvey's Best???? My mistake, I thought you were a Bristol Cream man? Cream of the crop and all that?

Don't you have to use Lewes pounds to buy that Best? Perhaps the Lewes pound is outpacing the £ too!!!

Still not £10/pint at RBLC so they don't have to be too deflated.

I do hope so, it was a good business trip and on expences.

OK, not enough biters, it was in Norway - high alcohol taxes but much better currency than ours recently!!!

Exceptionally resource rich, well managed country with small population. If only.....
