well because I believe there is now a high probability that:

-UK banks are bust

-the UK will do an Iceland and lose 75% of value against other currencies

-so whatever happens, I do not wish to hold pounds

-and there is a risk that between signing a contract and getting money away from the UK - I would lose 75% of value

-shares are probably at a peak

-the government secure levels of £50k for cash etc are set in sterling which could be worth much less

so time to hold tight or, if you are ready, run for the hills

just read the Telegraph today - how much longer can the international community stand the incompetance of Brown/Darling

and what do we have as an opposition? look-alikes who are in the pockets of international bankers!
