Chris, I understand, has taken a bold investment position which may or may not be correct, I suspect however he has considered things a little more than required to " buy a tickey" in order to "win the raffle". If that's your approach to investment then good luck to you but many of us can make money when the markets fall as well as when they rise.

Each to their own and "good luck" to those that need constantly rising markets.

I am in the market every day (mainly currencies), I just think the FTSE is due a correction. I went short the FTSE three times in the last two months and got my $%^& kicked, I have also been long the FTSE twice the last two months and made a bit back, I go which ever way my system takes me. My view is the FTSE is going down rather than up in the next 6-12 months, thats all. If my system tells me I am wrong I will change my view, until then my mid term view is down. Now if that makes me a doomer or what ever I really don't give a $%^&. The vast majority of people on this board are idiots thats why I have stopped posting, it's all coffee house $%^&. And as DB says (who is one of the intellects on this board) each to their own!
