I do not own shares of SLV

I have options.

Some of the options will make money if the price of SLV rises.

Some of the options will make money if the price of SLV falls.

If the value of SLV goes to zero, I will do OK out of it. Trust me.

I read some of the article you posted. It seemed to follow along these lines:

“In October, the Hong Kong bankers discovered some gold bars shipped from the United States were actually tungsten with gold plating”

Which supports the theory that

“a president from yesteryear with his Goldman Sachs Treasury Secretary might have swapped the entire contents of Fort Knox.”

Which might indicate that

“So did they not only lease the national treasure of gold, but swapped it first, then leased tungsten gold?”

Therefore

“Current estimates among the gold trader community run well past a few hundred thousand 'salted' gold bars, maybe over a million.”

All this based on a story about bankers discovering a tungsten gold bar. So I have tried to find the original story. Can't find it anywhere, no reference that I could see.

Do you know of a reference to it?

David Ike and Ron Paul have some Tungsten-flavoured-gold 'information' on their websites/ forums.

That's a pretty poor measure by anyone's standards.

Like you, I have not been able to find a reputable source (not even a newspaper) that has any details on any tungsten plated gold being either delivered to Fort Knox or discovered in HK.

A cover-up?!!

If I was a journalist I would love it if I had a scoop on this, but then my articles kept disappearing from the internet. Love it.

Could you please provide a source, because without one I can't be certain there is a gold scandal going on. In fact without one if I were to try and discuss the scandal with my friends and acquaintances they would think I was nuts.

PS Thanks for the advice that I shouldn't read David Ike books, rest assured I won't pick one up in the foreseeable future.

I have a family to support so it would be foolish of me to gamble with our savings on purely speculative investments that offer no return such as gold. I certainly would caution you against betting your loved ones future on gold, and you certainly shouldn't put your house on it.

Anyway PM ETFs are great for trading but for long term I wouldn't hold.

All gold contract holders should demand delivery of gold, its the best way to safeguard your own investment.
