Rowan Williams Archbishop of Canterbury has gone to see the Pope because dear Popey says Anglicans (thats posh C of E - no riff raff or yobs) can join the Catholics. Rowan - who always has this echo and sounds like God speaking - very middle class too - is God middle class ....?) had better beware. The last time this sort of thing happened in England Henry 8th had to sort out these wayward Catholics, and set up his own Church - the Church of England. God probably was not consulted. You cannot trust Roman Catholics an inch .....

I am sure you are totally trustworthy Marco - even if a Catholic. Note the tongue in cheek humour about Anglicans (posh Church of England people - non Anglicans are a total rabble). Actually Dad and one Bro were Catholics the rest of us C of E. So I am well experienced in all this ...

I'm surprised you've got the nerve showing up here, you being responsible for our latest resident fruit-cake Gymslip or whatever he's called (I'm not sure he is actually still around as he's so nuts and boring (I make exceptions if interesting) he's on ignore).

Have you fallen out with the loon or have you made up? He really is dull though you can do much better.

On New World Order, I had heard Hulk Hogan was returning to the ring but let's be serious he is 56 now so it won't be the same.

You are right about implants though, it causes nothing but delays at airports and the one in my head constantly picks up European radio stations.

You didn't answer my question so I had look at the religion site - oh dear you and gism seem to be mates again, and I see a few of your other nutter friends followed you over here eg James - lol he must already be on my ignore list because I couldn't see any of his posts.

Thanks for the elfs they didn't go down well on religion site though :-(

Rep I dont think its a lack of things happening on here - its a lack of things happening in the real world. As to the extremely religious - brainwashed more like. It is amusing seeing medieval superstious thought processes at work in modern seemingly enlightened times of course. But then all religion cannot be disproved - it may be wholly correct - that is the dilemma. However what one believes genuimely may be wholly untrue - for countless centuries people believed the world was flat. Far more recently people believed one Gordon Brown had a grasp of economics, etc. ...

Believe me Louis there is a God and He lives in the hearts of His children when they are spiritually born again from above. I have had numerous experiences of the supernatural touch of God upon my life to ever deny that God is not real.

I believe that the notion of the world being flat was one held by a very small number of people and it was seized upon as an example of uneducated minds from the past.
Apparently references as far back as the Greeks , state the Earth was round.
Just don't ask we to supply quotes to prove that !

The religion thing I am currently finding extremely fascinating as the psychology behind pushing the idea is clever and am finding it takes more of a "leap of faith" to step back from it than it does to accept it.
I see the same techniques used in other areas of life and understanding them is useful in my work.
These ideas can be used in the same way as trying to get an autistic child to do things can improve your management skills.

As for Gordon Brown ,it is his lack of understanding of how a "free market" should work that scares me.
The long term results of this could still come back to haunt us.

Yes I think Rep this is shown very clearly by recent events. Mortgage Backed Derivatives are very flawed as a theory - but - the belief by most if not all that House Prices MUST go up - and that MBDs must thus be totally secure, backed up by Ratings Agencies led Banks, Spivs, Gordon, near enough everyone into a "Fools Paradise" ... a belief. This then cruelly collapsed. I do wonder if Religion is the same. It is belief - it may well be as strong as MBDs were as a belief - in that case pure Alchemy - lend someone a Mortgage - get that money plus all the interest immediately, not in 25 or 30 years. It does all exercise the mind ....

All of human history is a story of changes.

There will be some big changes ahead too. No doubt some reorganisation of powers, etc.

As many people will no doubt have said to you in times past about many other things, change is inevitable. And:

"It's not the end of the world."

In related news, lord gizzme has turned me into a satanist, which I am happy about, broadly speaking.

I intend to get the mark as soon as possible. As previously discussed I will get it on my foreskin, and then if cir$%^&tances dictate cir$%^&cision, I will at least have options.

In the mean time take care if reading any of my posts. If I write hail satan, and you read it, it may count as praising the great dark lord himself. I'm not sure how it works or what counts, but TTFN.

Do you recall when you said that you'd got an email that described how mars was going to be closer than ever to the earth and that for one night only it would appear as big as the moon in the night sky?

You recall that it never actually happened ... despite sounding both wondrous and a bit scary ....

It didn't happen, and, it is not going to happen. But at the same time it is infinitely more likely to happen than the rapture for one simple reason:

Mars actually exists. It is a physical and real thing that occupies space. Not an abstract concept created by man to fill in the blanks in our knowledge of where we came from and what the whole point is.

Now back into character: If it comes down to it I will take the mark, but only in my foreskin, so there is no need to worry. As they say on crime watch: Don't have nightmares.
