Is Dubai World owned by Dubai International Capital, who own the Travelodges
They are offering special rate of £9 per night I guess that is quite close to home
Now I do not have any financial creditability due to my supernumerary status, but I would LOVE to be back in business
Any of you smart young guys who are sitting on a small fortune from selling at the right time. Here is an opportunity!
http://worldmuseumjobs.com/propdetail1.c...
Aworld Heritage Site of over 300 acres
and plenty of residential and business opportunities.
So for the price of 300 acres good agricultural land one can buy 300 acres of contaminated land, a row of cottages, pub, restaurant quayside. I can only put up 10% in cash and it would take me a long time to realise other assets
OK are there actually any men of money and vision out there????

RBS I think was only marginally exposed. Anyway it does not matter - British Government has to get RBS up to at least 70p to make a profit - for you the Taxpayer I mean. So any RBS problems will be bailed out - by you the Taxpayer I mean. However you the Taxpayer make totally zero profit personally from all this. We RBS Shareholders do though - lots. Good isnt it?

Stay well clear of any investment in the Gulf, most of the 'governments' are full of playboys without a brain cell between them. All they are interested in is flying their hawks, riding camels and picking up western women....not in that order.

The Gulf may be risky but do invest in happy Libya, where each day is fun, where the green ice cream is something not to be missed, where all the people await who was responsible for Locherbie, led by the charismatic and wise Colonel and son. Invest in the Third Universal Theory there - a mix of best of Communism and Capitalism, a truly happy country not affected in any way by the World Financial Crisis. They have the best camels - I know - I rode one ...

Fundie,
Mmmh, yes selling is the difficult bit, any old fool can buy....and try to talk up the sp on a daily basis.
Couldn't the govt just go the whole hog and nationalise it? Perhaps the smart money got out on the bounce. I mean they did it to others, could this be a bigger NRK type wreck? Mmmmh I wonder how low it would have to go before alarm bells ring and they nationalise it? Gosh holders would look damned stupid then!!
Ho Ho Ho
PS Santa worship it getting to be a pain, I may not last 'til christmas.

Wotcha DB,
HM Treasury will have to make sure they don't leave HM looking like a Lehman.......
...........and others like Laymen.
It's Lamentable.
Or Lamontable?
And I'm a lemon!
I might buy RBS at say 10p.......but I could be on the wrong RailTrack.....

Buy RBS NOW ... they will never be cheaper. Abu Dhabi will bail out Dubai and we will be back where we were. And all this unkind stuff about camels. I have riden camels - they are hugely sure footed. They speak Arabic of course, so thats a problem. And there is flatulence. But you can forecast this as they raise their tails. But for transport they cannot be beaten, very Green too. Remember ... "buy on a rumour and sell on a whisper" - or is it the other way round?

RBS fine in the long Marco buy more. Yes and buy more Lloyds. Abu Dhabi will bail out Dubai then shares will rocket. the reason is that to Arabs to default on debts is shameful. Oh ... and in Islam it is dreadfully shameful to lie ... but then ... Sadam did not, at all, to the UN ... did he?
